FAQs

  • Aftercare for Recovery bandage:

Leave bandage on for 3 days.

It will fill up with plasma and ink, that is completely normal.

It is water proof so you can shower everyday as you normally would.

Do not soak your tattoo for a long time. No swimming for 2 weeks.

Keep tattoo out direct sun light.

After 3 days take the bandage off. Start from the top and peel down.  Wash with fragrance  free soap.  Pat dry . Apply a small amount of fragrance free lotion.

Pay attention to the edges of the bandage if it turns really red or hurts then you might be having an allergic reaction to the adhesive. If that happens remove the bandage immediately and wash your tattoo with fragrance free soap and apply small amount of lotion.

Wash your tattoo once a day and apply lotion 3-5 times a day, whenever it feels a little dry.

  • Yes!, I do free consultations if requested. We can meet up and go over any details about what you are wanting to get done such as subject matter, placement, size etc.

  • To book an appointment you can either do it online or stop by the shop and set it up in person. If you choose to do it online then fill out the booking form on my home page. Once it is completed I will reach out to go over any details and questions I may have and answer any that you may have. After we get everything figured out then you can click the "book now" tab on my site and pick a date and time that works for you. A non-refundable deposit is required to hold an appointment.

  • Yes, I require a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold an appointment. The deposit goes towards the final price of the tattoo. If it a multiple session tattoo then the deposit would be deducted from the final session.

  • I do take walk-ins when if I have the time to. Typically I work by appointment so the time I am at the shop I am working on my appointments. If I have a cancellation or have time after an appointment I am more than happy to take a walk in. It is definitely recommended to make an appointment to ensure you can reserve a spot to get the tattoo you want.

  • I require at least a 48 hour notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel within $8 of said appointment then you would forfeit your deposit. If you need to reschedule I require the same 48 hour notice. I allow up to 2 reschedules for an appointment, if a third reschedule is requested then your deposit will be forfeited and another deposit would be required to book an appoinment.

  • I do not send out artwork before appointments. I believe through our communication before the appointment is set that we should be able to be on the same page about the design. I book enough time that when you come in for your appointment that if we need to make small changes then there is plenty of time to do so. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with the design and there is a need to redraw it completely then we would just reschedule for a later date. I want you to be as happy as possible with your tattoo so please don't hesitate to communicate with any input or concerns. With that being said, if you change your idea from one subject matter to a completely different subject and I already drew that design for you, then your deposit would be forfeited. For example : if we have an appointment and you want a to get a heart with a banner that says Mom but last minute you change your idea to Pikachu riding a skateboard, as much as I want to do that Pikachu if I already spent time drawing the Mom heart a new deposit is required.

  • Please dress appropriately, for example : if I'm going to be working on your thigh wear shorts or loose clothing so it can be moved and I can access that area. If i was going to do a back piece and you are required to take your shirt off I recommend bringing a hoody that zips up and put it on backwards so that you are fully comfortable and covered and I still have access to your back. For under boob tattoos I recommend getting pasties before hand or we can tape covers on you so you are covered while giving access that is needed to do the tattoo. I also have privacy partitions to set around my station to add privacy for clients.

  • Yes, my minimum is $200.

My hourly rate is $200. I charge an hourly rate when doing larger scale sessions such as sleeves or chest/back pieces.

I also do pieces for a flat rate, pricing always depends on the time it takes, level of difficulty, and part of the body.

  • The first touch up is free within the first 3 months after the tattoo is done! After the tattoo is healed and if you notice something maybe lightened up or fell out while healing don't hesitate to reach out and we can get you scheduled in. I want your tattoo to look as good as it can! If it is longer than 3 months and you would like to set up a touch up it would be a set up fee of my minimum.

  • Due to space restrictions it is not recommended to bring anyone that is not getting tattooed. I will allow 1 person to accompany the person getting tattooed but I cannot accommodate more people than that in or around my tattoo station.

  • I take all forms of payments. Cash is always preferred. I do take Venmo (@ericbtattoo). I also take debit and all major credit cards, there is a 3% fee for credit cards.

  • Please don't hesitate to ask me! Feel free to reach out before our appointment especially if it's time sensitive. Also don't hesitate to ask in person. I'm here to answer everything I can for you.
